Blackburn Meadows
Eon Climate & Renewables (ECR) has received planning approval from Sheffield City Council to build a biomass renewable energy plant at Blackburn Meadows in Sheffield. The 30 MW renewable energy plant will produce enough power for around 40,000 homes by converting recycled waste wood into electricity. The plant will also displace the emission of around 80,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide every year, the equivalent of taking more than 20,000 cars off the UK’s roads each year, by burning carbon neutral fuel in place of traditional fossil fuels like coal and gas.
For this site TGM Kanis Turbinen GmbH will deliver a condensing steam turbine generator set with maximum clamping capacity of approximately 33 MW.

RothesThe power plant in Rothes, Scotland will be establish by the Energy Technology Aalborg A / S for the project executing organisation Helios cords. The plant will be run on biomass which will be 115,000 t mash of local whiskey distilleries and 60,000 tonnes of wood chips from forest wood. For this site TGM Kanis Turbinen GmbH will deliver an 8.8 extraction condensing steam turbine generator set.

TGM Kanis Turbinen GmbH has got the order to deliver a backpressure steam turboset (impulse design), including auxiliaries. Max. steam flow = 228 t/h and max. electrical output = 21 MW. |
ClevelandA new, modern incineration plant will be built in Tees Valley, Billingham (U.K.) to produce up to 27,4 MW (max. el. power output) from garbage. The el. energy will be fed into the public grid.
